JINNAH FUND
Join us in advancing religious freedom in Pakistan.
Jinnah Fund is dedicated to advancing religious freedom in Pakistan through strategic litigation and legal advocacy, enabling communities to protect their rights and promote tolerance.
cause
Jinnah Fund stands for every Pakistani’s right to faith, dignity, and equality. Religious minorities in Pakistan continue to face systemic persecution, discrimination, and violence. Jinnah Fund’s mission is to challenge this injustice ensuring that every citizen, regardless of faith, can live free from fear.
Justice for the persecuted. Freedom for all.
Jinnah Fund was founded with one clear purpose: to protect and promote the rights of Pakistan’s religious minorities through law, advocacy, and awareness. Inspired by the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah — a Pakistan where every citizen enjoys equal rights — we work to dismantle discrimination, defend the persecuted, and uphold the principles of justice and freedom.
The Problem
-

Legal Discrimination
Pakistan’s legal framework continues to marginalize religious minorities. Discriminatory laws — especially the misuse of blasphemy provisions — are weaponized against vulnerable communities, often leading to false accusations, imprisonment, and even death sentences.
-

Violence and Intimidation
Places of worship burned, vandalized, and desecrated. Families uprooted and displaced. Communities prevented from freely professing and practicing their faith. Minorities forced to convert. Religious minorities face routine violence and threats, often without protection or recourse from the state.
-

Marginalization and Exclusion
From education and employment to politics and policy, systemic exclusion prevents religious minorities from living with dignity and participating fully in public life.
“You may belong to any religion, caste or creed—that has nothing to do with the business of the state.”
- Jinnah
work & impact
-
Jinnah Fund undertakes legal advocacy to safeguard and ensure fundamental rights of Pakistan’s religious minorities guaranteed to them under the Constitution of Pakistan. This legal advocacy can take many forms including but not limited to strategic litigation and legal defense in blasphemy cases.
-
Jinnah Fund invests in people — training local lawyers, advocates, and community leaders to defend religious freedom from the ground up.
Through capacity-building and legal education, we empower Pakistan’s minorities to stand for their rights. -
Silence enables persecution. Through awareness campaigns, international partnerships, and engaging the diaspora, we shine a light on religious intolerance in Pakistan — mobilizing support where it matters most.
